Terms of Service

Version 1.1 — Effective 8 April 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Guest Booking System (“the Service”), operated by My Future Business® (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Guest Booking System is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables podcast hosts and show operators (“Hosts”) to manage guest applications, scheduling, payments, and communications. Guests (“Guests”) can use the Service to apply to appear on podcasts and manage their bookings.

We are a platform intermediary. We are not a party to any booking agreement between a Host and a Guest. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcome of any interview or booking arranged through the Service.

2. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately at support@guestbookingsystem.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • We reserve the right to terminate accounts that contain false information or that violate these Terms.

3. Host Terms

3.1 Subscription. To access Host features, you must subscribe to a paid plan (Founding Member or Monthly). Subscriptions are managed via Stripe or PayPal. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees.

3.2 Accuracy. You are responsible for ensuring your show profile, availability, and booking information are accurate and up to date.

3.3 Guest treatment. You must treat Guests professionally and fairly. You must not discriminate against Guests on the basis of race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

3.4 Booking fees. If you charge Guests a booking fee, you are solely responsible for setting appropriate fees and for any disputes arising from them. You must enter and maintain valid payment credentials for your chosen payment provider.

3.5 Honouring approved bookings. Once you approve a booking, you must make reasonable efforts to honour it. If you must cancel, you must notify the Guest promptly and process any applicable refund.

3.6 Google Calendar integration. If you connect your Google account, you grant us permission to create Google Calendar events and Google Meet links on your behalf. You may disconnect this integration at any time.

4. Guest Terms

4.1 Accurate applications. All information you provide in a guest application must be truthful and accurate. Providing false credentials or misrepresenting yourself is grounds for immediate account termination.

4.2 Booking fees. If a Host charges a booking fee, you agree to pay it as part of the booking process. All fees are displayed clearly before payment.

4.3 Attending bookings. If you confirm a booking, you must make reasonable efforts to attend at the agreed time. If you cannot attend, you must notify the Host as early as possible via the platform chat.

4.4 Professional conduct. You must conduct yourself professionally before, during, and after any interview arranged through the Service.

5. Payments and Fees

5.1 Platform subscriptions. Host subscription fees are charged at the rates displayed on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Founding Member is a one-time lifetime fee. Monthly plans are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time.

5.2 Guest booking fees. Booking fees are set by individual Hosts, not by us. We act solely as a payment facilitator. The Host is the merchant of record for booking fees.

5.3 Taxes. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.

5.4 Payment processors. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. By making a payment, you agree to their respective terms of service. We do not store your payment card details.

5.5 Refunds. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Spam, phish, or send unsolicited commercial communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ accounts
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, content, trademarks, and logos, is owned by My Future Business® and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (application materials, messages, show profiles). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it as necessary to operate the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We are not responsible for the conduct, content, or actions of any Host or Guest using the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Future Business® and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless My Future Business® and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia. If you are located in the EU, you may also have rights under EU consumer protection laws which these Terms do not limit.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Informal resolution. Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us at support@guestbookingsystem.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Both parties agree to negotiate in good faith during this period.

13.2 Mediation. If informal resolution fails, either party may request non-binding mediation before a mutually agreed mediator. The costs of mediation will be shared equally unless the mediator directs otherwise.

13.3 Jurisdiction. If mediation is unsuccessful or waived, any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia in accordance with Section 12 (Governing Law). Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

13.4 Individual claims only. All disputes must be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action, collective action, or representative proceeding. You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action against us.

13.5 Limitation period. Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought within one (1) year of the date the cause of action arose, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect and by updating the version number and effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
