Online Safety
Version 1.0 — Effective the day the Guest & Host Directory opens
How we keep the directory safe, and where to get help.
1. Adults only
The directory is for people aged 18 and over. We remove a profile if we learn it belongs to someone younger.
2. How the directory is built to be safer
- Contact details are hidden. Requests and invitations go through the site.
- Each person can send at most 10 requests or invitations in 24 hours.
- Anyone can block another person, and anyone signed in can report a profile or a show.
- A profile reported by three different people is suspended automatically until it has been reviewed.
- Wording is checked automatically before it is posted, and held for review if it matches our list.
- Bot checks at sign-up, and email confirmation before an account can be used.
3. Unlawful and harmful material
We remove unlawful material when we find it or are told about it, and we report child sexual abuse material and credible threats to the police or the relevant authority. We cooperate with the eSafety Commissioner and with lawful requests from regulators and courts.
4. Meeting someone you found here
- Interviews booked here are normally held online, using the meeting link in your booking.
- Do not send money to anyone outside the payment step in the booking system.
- If someone asks you to move the conversation elsewhere before a booking, or pressures you, report them.
5. Getting help
- Report a profile from its page, or email support@guestbookingsystem.com.
- In Australia, you can report serious online abuse to the eSafety Commissioner at esafety.gov.au.
- If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
