Content and Acceptable Use Policy

1. Our approach

Guest Booking System connects people. We do not judge what hosts and guests choose to talk about on their shows. We do act on content that is unlawful or that breaks the rules below.

2. What is not allowed

• Any sexual content involving a child, or content that sexualises or endangers children.
• Content that is unlawful, or that promotes or sells illegal drugs, weapons, forged documents or stolen goods.
• Threats, incitement to violence, or praise of violent acts.
• Hate directed at people because of who they are, and harassment or bullying of any person.
• Fraud, scams and misleading money-making or investment promises.
• Pretending to be another person or organisation.
• False or misleading statements about yourself, your show or your audience.
• Spam, bulk or repeated messages, and advertising unrelated to an interview.
• Sexually explicit material and the offer of sexual services.
• Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trade mark or privacy.
• Asking someone to pay outside Guest Booking System for an interview that is listed here, or giving contact details in a request or invitation to move the conversation elsewhere before a booking.

3. The automatic word check

When you save a profile or send a request or invitation, the wording is checked against a list of words and phrases. If one is found, nothing is posted, the wording is held, and it is sent to us for a person to review. You are told at once and can change the wording and try again straight away.

The check is automatic and imperfect. It will sometimes hold wording that is fine, and it will not catch everything. Anyone can report something themselves.

4. What happens when a rule is broken

• We may remove the content, suspend the profile, or remove the account from the directory.
• A profile reported by three different people is suspended automatically until a person has reviewed it.
• Repeated or serious breaches lead to permanent removal.
• Where the law requires it, or where someone may be at risk of harm, we report material to the police or to the relevant authority. A person makes that decision, never the automatic check.

5. Your own content

You are responsible for what you post. Interviews themselves are recorded and published by hosts, not by us, and each host is responsible for their own show.
